Sailing Instructor Training - Level 3 -

Our Level 3 Sailing courses are aimed at all VDWS instructors who want to expand their teaching skills with professional advanced training. You don't have to be an expert – we'll make you one!

Level 3 instructors are experts in riding technique, whose own skills and methodological abilities enable them to analyze complex movements and develop teaching models that go beyond the beginner level.

Requirements for the Course:

  • VDWS Instructor Licence Level 2 (available with Level 1 only upon request)
  • Active VDWS membership
  • Advanced sailing level
  • Teaching experience

For the License Completion:

  • Practical exam at the end of the Level 3 Instructor course

Note:
If you do not yet have the required practical level or have not mastered the topic of the course, you are still welcome to participate. In this case, participation will count as a license extension, not as a Level 3 certification.

Course Duration: 2 days
Cost: €200
Additional Expenses: Travel, accommodation, and equipment (if needed)

Depending on the seminar topic, the following focus areas will be weighted differently:

  • Improvement of personal riding skills
  • Methodology in advanced student training

  • Specific training of maneuvers and techniques
  • Enhancement of personal demonstration skills
  • Deepening of material knowledge and its relation to advanced equipment
